Uh huh.

That’s what I thought.

This completely recontextualizes Ryan’s behavior at the end of the episode. At first, it looks like Ryan is just feeling down because Min is putting all of the onus on him for keeping them stuck on the train. Min blames Ryan for getting them on the Infinity Train in the first place, and now he’s putting Ryan down for failing to learn a lesson in the Pig Baby Car. But we never get to see Ryan’s hand after that point.

Until the post-credits banner.

Ryan knows that it’s not his fault Min’s number went up. He knows Min is the one who failed to learn a lesson. But he’s not willing to confront Min about it yet.

This puts Min in a very dangerous situation. The train started them with their numbers synced. The expectation was that they would make this journey together so the could leave the train together. But what happens if Ryan’s number reaches zero and Min is left alone? Can he get off the train without Ryan’s help? Or is he doomed to die here? The train is unforgiving in its judgement, as we have often seen.

And on that ominous note, that’s the end of the episode! I have D&D tomorrow, so we’ll continue this on Wednesday! Cya then!
